Your Gateway to the Klondike Gold Rush
Founded in the 1940’s in Dawson City, Yukon, the home of the Klondike Gold Rush of 1898.
Murdoch’s Gem Shop was founded in the 1940’s in Dawson City, Yukon, the home of the Klondike Gold Rush of 1898.
We specialize in jewellery manufactured from natural gold nuggets, mammoth ivory and Canadian diamonds. Items manufactured by our craftsmen include rings, earrings, pendants and bracelets. We also make gold nugget watchbands.
Our store is like a small museum. We invite you to come and see Klondike Kate’s famous silver belt, giant carved wood gold miner, mammoth ivory jewellery, gold rush artifacts and mastodon tusks.
Jewellery Repair & Custom Design
We have two goldsmiths with more than 30 years experience in making and repairing jewellery. If you have a special jewellery design, we can help you make it a reality. We look forward to helping you with all of your jewellery requirements.
Watch Repair & Battery
Watch stops working? It may just need a new battery. We sell watch batteries and offer watch battery replacement service. We also adjust watch bracelet for customers.
Jewellery & Accessories
Made from genuine, eco-conscious prehistoric Woolly Mammoth or Mastodon Ivories, the ivories used for our jewellery pieces are range in age from 10,000 to 200,000 years. The beautiful hues of tan, brown and blue are a result of thousands of years of mineralization.
Maple Leaf Diamonds™ are mined in the pristine wilds of northern Canada. They are ranked among the world’s most exquisite and valued gems. Maple Leaf Diamonds™ are guaranteed natural and untreated and have a distinct maple leaf insignia and tracking number laser inscribed on the girdle.
